Sr. Fabric Sourcing Executive

As a Senior Fabric Sourcing Executive at the reputed Buying house based in Chennai, your role will involve coordinating with the design team and buyers for fabric innovation and collections. You will collaborate with suppliers in India and overseas, as well as factories, for the development of new fabrics and order placement. Effective communication with buyers regarding developments and call outs will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct vendor landscaping to assess their strength, performance, and quality aspects, including sampling and developments. Identifying suitable vendors based on their capacity and quality aspects, and developing qualities, lab dips, and strike-offs from selected vendors will also be part of your role. Creating special qualities based on customer requirements and market intelligence, managing the sampling and bulk Time and Action Plan (TNA) with follow up using excel charts, conducting bulk follow-up and random inspections at the mill stage, and engaging in cost negotiation processes are also included in your responsibilities. Qualifications Required: - 10 to 15 years of experience in fabric sourcing, dyeing, and printing techniques.
