Job Description

Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance:
Lead the maintenance and troubleshooting of all electrical systems, including control panels, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, switchgears, and power distribution systems.
Ensure proper functioning and safety compliance of electrical installations.
Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance for all electrical equipment.
Mechanical Maintenance (Support & Oversight):
Coordinate and assist in mechanical maintenance of plastic processing machinery (e.g., injection molding, blow molding, extrusion machines).
Work closely with the mechanical team for root cause analysis and long-term solutions for repetitive mechanical issues.
Utilities and Infrastructure:
Ensure uninterrupted operation and maintenance of utilities such as compressors, chillers, DG sets, cooling towers, air dryers, and HVAC systems.
Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving measures.
Team Leadership and Development:
Supervise a team of electricians and multi-skilled technicians.
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide hands-on training to enhance skill levels.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain updated records of all electrical inspections, test reports, and statutory compliance (e.g., energy audits, electrical safety).
Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, checklists, machine history, and breakdown reports.
Projects & Improvements:
Participate in new equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
Implement automation, energy efficiency, and cost-saving projects.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components.
Exposure to PLC/SCADA-based automation (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
Understanding of plastic processing machinery operations and utilities.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Problem-solving, planning, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and statutory compliance.

Required Qualification:- Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical
