MNC FMCG for the position Sr. Executive Planning

The position is accountable for:

1. Driving the efficient supply planning and production schedules for Finished Good Material at factory for Domestic and Export market.

2. Managing the Production for assortment packing at a 3rd party Copacker inline to Business Requirement.

3. Managing the cost, efficiency, and Budget of Copacking operations

4. Leading new product launches, overseeing transition planning of Consumer and Trade Promotions in Finished Goods,

Optimizing Line Utilization and ensuring effective Inventory Management.

Factory Supply Planning and Production Schedule

• Drive and oversee the supply planning and production schedule of Finished Good Material for the factory.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, minimize downtime, and meet production targets.

Copacker Production Planning and Cost Management:

• Drive production planning and operations for assortment packing at a 3rd party Copacker.
• Manage the cost and efficiency of Copacking operations, identifying opportunities for optimization.

New Product Launches and Transition Planning:

• Lead New Product Launches, ensuring smooth transition planning for Consumer and Trade Promo activities.
• Optimize Line Utilization and oversee Inventory Management to support new product launches.

Capacity Planning and S&OP Process:

• Conduct long-term (24 months) Capacity Planning for the factory and provide support to the HO team for risk and opportunity assessment.
• Participate in the Monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and lead supply review meeting discussions.

Volume Delivery:

• Participate in the overall S&OP process via Leading Supply Review Meetings at the Plant with Plant Manufacturing, Shipping, Purchasing, and HO Planning team.
• Conduct rough-cut capacity planning for the rolling month requirement.
• Develop a Rolling Production plan for Finished Goods at SKU/Month Level based on the S&OP agreed month plan.
• Serve as a primary point of contact from the Plant for Finished Good availability, liaising with the Planning team at the head-office, manufacturing team at the Plant, and Sales and Marketing Team for Trade and Consumer Promo.
• Collaborate with Plant production, procurement, and Co-packer to establish schedules and plans, ensuring optimal allocation of available production hours.
• Focus on Organised Trade specific SKUs, reviewing Order Fill Rates, and taking corrective actions on Weekly Inventory Plan, RM/PM Coverage, and manufacturing support needed to meet SKU OFR targets

Finished Good Inventory Management:

• Implement strategies for effective Finished Good Inventory Management, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory levels with production plans and sales forecasts.

Trade Promo, NPD Delivery:

• Participate in Trade Promo meetings with sales, marketing, Supply Chain, Packaging, Procurement, and other related departments to integrate the Promo Plans with Monthly FG Plan.
• Maintain an end-to-end NPD tracker from a supply readiness point of view and address issues with relevant stakeholders for resolution.

Essential:

BE/B Tech

Desirable will be PG in Supply Chain Management.

Essential

Supply Planning, Master Production Schedule, Material Planning, Analytics, Project management, Communication, Problem solving and Negotiations.

SAP knowledge and MRP module
