Sr. Executive-Logistics

As a Logistics Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include preparing various shipping documents such as packing lists, Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB) instructions, ECTN drafts, and labels. You will also be responsible for calculating cubic meters (CBM) for container requirements, planning container stuffing, and coordinating with vendors to plan shipments effectively. Additionally, you will need to prepare certificates of origin, shipping-related documents, and ensure compliance with SGS inspection and certification requirements. You will be required to coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and insurance agents to ensure the timely and safe transportation of goods. It will be essential to develop new transporters and wooden packaging vendors, as well as prepare various trackers and reports based on shipments, warehouse bills, and export documents. Adherence to key result areas (KRA) and productivity levels, as well as rectifying audited files and uploading them in the Data Management System (DMS) within the given deadline, are crucial aspects of this role. In a supervisory capacity, you will allocate daily responsibilities to the Assistant Logistics, review and approve export documentation prepared by subordinates, and monitor their work to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Conducting periodic review meetings, mentoring, training, and supporting subordinates in export-import documentation and compliance will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of logistics principles, working knowledge of warehouse operations, familiarity with transportation regulations and documentation, and awareness of import/export compliance and customs procedures. Knowledge of CBM calculation, HS codes, INCOTERMS, export-import documentation, and shipment flow is essential. Effective coordination between vendors, CHA, transporters, and warehouses, as well as basic knowledge of freight booking and tracking, will be key to success in this position.
