Job Purpose:

To facilitate and drive the Learning & Development (L&D) agenda at the plant level by coordinating technical and non-technical training programs. The role involves planning, organizing, and executing capability-building initiatives in alignment with the organizations L&D framework and business needs. The incumbent will also independently conduct non-technical sessions such as 5S, POSH, and other behavioral or compliance-related programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Coordination and Delivery

  • Coordinate with Plant HODs to identify technical and functional training needs.
  • Liaise with the Central L&D team for scheduling and organizing technical training programs.
  • Organize, anchor, and manage all in-plant training programs, including logistics, nominations, and feedback collection.
  • Facilitate and conduct non-technical training sessions (e.g., 5S, POSH, Workplace Ethics, Team Building, etc.) as per plant requirements.

2. L&D Calendar and Framework

  • Develop and maintain an annual L&D calendar in consultation with plant leadership and central L&D.
  • Align L&D activities with business priorities and capability-building goals.
  • Implement the plant-specific L&D framework and ensure its integration with organizational learning strategies.

    3. Reporting and MIS

    • Prepare and maintain dashboards, training records, and reports on training effectiveness and coverage.
    • Track and report training hours, participation data, and feedback scores to central L&D and plant leadership.
    • Ensure timely submission of monthly L&D MIS and dashboards.
    • 4. Compliance and Audits

    • Ensure all mandatory compliance-related training is conducted on time (POSH, Safety, Code of Conduct, etc.).
    • Maintain training documentation and records as per audit and ISO requirements.
    • 5. Stakeholder Management

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including HODs, Safety, and Quality teams for training delivery.
    • Coordinate with external training vendors and resource persons for specialized programs.
    • Act as a key liaison between the Plant and Central L&D team for all L&D matters.
    • Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
    • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of L&D frameworks, adult learning principles, and training evaluation methodologies.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and MIS reporting.
    • Exposure to POSH, 5S, and behavioral training delivery is an advantage.
    • Educational Qualification:

    • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources / Psychology / Behavioral Science / or related field.
    • Experience:

    • 4–6 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a manufacturing or cement plant setup.
