Key Responsibilities
Ensure uptime of key infrastructure components and systems Resolve incidents quickly to minimize disruptions Ensure uinteruppted internet services Maintain security by antivisrus and web filtering Regular maintenance and updates of systems Work effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders Optimize infrastructure costs Keeping records of Assets on AMS and Excel Coordination with vendors for system and ISP services Execute preventive maintenance, patching, and backup procedures Implement access control, antivirus, firewall, and endpoint protection policies. Support internal and external audits with complete documentation and evidence packs. Maintain updated SOPs, network diagrams, configuration baselines. Track IT assets in the Asset Register and coordinate with vendors for support.
Authority
Authorized to execute daily infrastructure tasks like network health checks, and endpoint provisioning. Can escalate issues to senior IT leadership and initiate first-level troubleshooting protocols. May recommend upgrades or replacements based on performance metrics and asset lifecycle. Authorized to apply approved security patches, antivirus updates, and firewall rule changes. Authorized to guide junior staff and interns on operational procedures and documentation standards. May participate in cross-functional meetings to represent infrastructure concerns and suggest improvements.
