To develop and deliver high-quality written content across multiple platforms including social media, website, campaign copy (email, SMS, blogs, and articles), and product/service descriptions. The role also involves creating thought-leadership content for the Founder & President and supporting overall marketing communication strategies.

3. Key Accountabilities

Strategic

• Support the execution of the marketing and branding strategies.
  

Operational

• Develop compelling thought-leadership content for the Founder & President, covering his journey, milestones, events, and key themes.
  
• Generate content ideas/themes in alignment with MIT-WPU’s social media presence.
  
• Create, plan, and manage the social media content calendar.
  
• Write and edit content for:
  
• Social media posts
  
• Website copy
  
• Blogs and articles
  
• Product/service descriptions
  
• Campaigns (email, SMS, social media)
  
• Analyze competitor and third-party content strategies to propose fresh article ideas.
  
• Manage MIT-WPU’s social media pages, blog, and online presence.
  
• Contribute to SMO, crisis communication, online reputation management, and influencer marketing activities.
  

Research & Development

• Conduct research to gather relevant information and produce content tailored to the required tone, style, and audience.
  
• Stay updated with the latest trends in content writing, digital media, and communication.
  

Financial & Budget

• Ensure effective utilization and tracking of budgets allocated to content-related activities.
  

Collaborations

• Work closely with internal stakeholders including academic and functional departments to align content with institutional objectives.
  

External Representation

• Represent the university externally, if required, for content-related collaborations and brand representation.
  

4. Person Specification

Technical & Professional Experience

• 3–4 years of proven experience in content writing, preferably in the education sector.
  
• Strong knowledge of SEO principles including keyword placement in titles, headings, and content.
  
• Experience in writing meta-titles, meta-descriptions, and other SEO-friendly content.
  
• Ability to write across formats and styles for multiple audiences with impeccable English, grammar, and punctuation.
