Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Prepare
monthly product-wise EBIT calculations
Calculate
monthly Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM)
including sales reversals
Perform
monthly inventory reconciliation
Conduct
monthly variable cost analysis
and variance reporting
Prepare
monthly plant-wise and market-wise P&L split
Analyze
monthly maintenance costs
Compute
monthly scrap provisions
and perform scrap cost analysis
Post and review
monthly journal entries
related to costing
Calculate
monthly product mix
and transaction costs
Prepare data for
yearly cost audit
Perform
yearly overhead actualization
Provide support during
statutory audits

Authorities

Access ERP / SAP / Finance systems for costing, journal posting, and report generation
Coordinate with
Production, Procurement, Maintenance, Stores, and Finance teams
for data validation
Recommend corrections in costing entries, overhead allocation, inventory valuation, and scrap provisions, subject to approval by the Finance Head / Controller

Accountability

Ensure
accuracy and integrity
of all costing-related financial data
Maintain compliance with
accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements
Provide reliable financial insights to support
pricing, profitability, and cost control decisions
Maintain strict
confidentiality
of financial data and cost reports
