Job Description

As a Medical Claims Call Center Representative, your primary role is to handle inbound customer calls related to claims and claim rejections in a professional and timely manner. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries effectively. Key responsibilities include: - Answering customer calls and assisting them with inquiries regarding medical claims and rejections. - Providing accurate information on claim procedures, documentation requirements, and coverage. - Investigating and resolving customer concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction. - Collaborating with internal departments to address and resolve complex issues. - Maintaining updated knowledge of products, medical billing codes, and claim processes. - Documenting customer interactions accurately and updating records in the system. - Identifying and escalating critical issues to the appropriate department or supervisor. - Adhering to company policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines. Qualifications required for this role: - Life science, Paramedical, Medical Graduates and Post Graduates (Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Health education) or equivalent degree. Experience and skills needed: - 1-3 years of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical insurance setting. - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claim procedures, and billing codes. - Ability to contribute to revenue through cross-selling. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to handle high call volumes and prioritize customer needs effectively. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. - Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. - Proficiency in using computer systems, including CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Flexibility to work shifts as per business requirements.,
