Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Monitor real-time and end-of-day exposure across commodity products (energy, metals, agri, etc.).
Assess and report Value at Risk (VaR), position limits, price volatility, and liquidity risks.
Validate pricing models and ensure accuracy of mark-to-market valuations.
Work closely with traders/brokers to understand trading strategies and associated risks.
Evaluate counterparty creditworthiness and set risk limits based on internal policies.
Monitor margin requirements, client positions, and potential exposure to default.
Coordinate with finance and compliance teams on KYC, credit reviews, and collateral requirements.
Ensure adherence to exchange rules, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
Support audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance reviews.
Identify and mitigate operational risks in trade execution, clearing, and settlement processes.

Preferred candidate profile

3-5 years of experience in commodity risk management, trading risk, or risk analytics within a broking or trading firm.
