Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and certify contractors running account (RA) bills and final bills as per contract terms.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and ensure accuracy in BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
  • Monitor material reconciliation, wastage control, and cost tracking at site.
  • Support project team in preparing budget estimates, cost analysis, and cash flow projections.
  • Coordinate with planning, execution, and procurement teams to ensure timely certification of bills.
  • Validate subcontractor bills, rate analysis, and variations/extra item claims.
  • Assist in tendering, contract documentation, and rate negotiations with vendors/contractors.
  • Maintain updated records of measurements, billing registers, and contractual correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, IS codes, and contractual requirements.
  • Provide periodic MIS reports on billing, cost, and cash flow to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 79 years of experience in QS & Billing, preferably in high-rise residential building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems (SAP / Primavera / other billing software).
  • Sound understanding of CPWD/IS codes, contracts, and site measurement procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
