Sr. Engineer - Mechanical

As a qualified candidate, you must hold a BE/BTech in mechanical engineering from a reputable university. You should have 4 to 8 years of experience in mechanical product development and be willing to work on New Product Development (NPD), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE), and Sustaining projects. It is desired that you have experience across all phases of the new product development process, including initiation, requirements management, concepting, detailed design, verification & validation, and handing over for production with accountability for deliverables. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, as you will be expected to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams. A key aspect of the role involves leading positive change through systems and process improvement. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly Proe/Creo, is preferred, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience with MS Office software and liaising with overseas manufacturers is also important. Additionally, you should have a good working knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, PPAP, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and other product development techniques and tools. Familiarity with different manufacturing processes and electromechanical product development is advantageous. Prioritization skills are crucial for meeting project timelines, cost, and quality requirements. You will have the opportunity to quickly learn established engineering processes and standards, such as Product Development Process (preferably Windchill), ECN, BOM, RFQ, etc., to accomplish assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
