Job Description

Overview : As the Inward Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for incoming materials, components, and products. You will lead a team responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating incoming materials to ensure they meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your primary goal will be to maintain and improve the quality of incoming materials and products, thereby contributing to the overall safety and reliability of our safety valve products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Quality Inspection Procedures : Develop and implement comprehensive quality inspection procedures for incoming materials, components, and products. Ensure that all inspection processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 2. Supplier Quality Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the consistent quality of incoming materials. Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 3. Incoming Material Testing : Oversee the testing and evaluation of incoming materials using various testing methods and equipment. Ensure that testing procedures are thorough and accurate, and that all test results are properly documented. 4. Quality Assurance Standards : Ensure that all incoming materials and products meet the company's quality assurance standards and specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements. 5. Non-Conformance Management : Develop and implement procedures for managing non-conforming materials and products. Investigate root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. 6. Team Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to the inward quality team. Set clear performance expectations, provide training and development opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and production, to address quality issues and drive process improvements throughout the supply chain. 8. Documentation and Reporting : Ensure that all quality inspection activities are properly documented and recorded. Prepare regular reports on incoming material quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives. 9. Regulatory Compliance : Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and standards related to product quality and safety. Ensure that all incoming materials and products comply with applicable regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 6-8 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and tools. Experience with quality inspection procedures and testing methods. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to the safety valve industry. NDT Level II in RT, MPT, DP, UT having working experience. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
