Key Responsibilities: - Support cross-functional teams with Component Engineering deliverables such as Part Management, SCR Risk Assessment, and PPAP Reliability review. - Assist in identifying alternate components for Product Development needs, Part Shortage, and Multi-sourcing. - Conduct Product Bill of Materials (BOMs) Risk and Cost Analysis for factors like Cost, Lifecycle Risks, Auto-Grades, and Multi-sourcing opportunities. - Take accountability for the Design for Sourcing (DFS) initiative and manage it through effective cross-functional collaboration. - Explore cost-effective alternate components as part of Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) and drive ideation for implementation acceptance. - Interact with Semiconductor houses to bring technological advancements in Components to Visteon Products. - Ensure ISO/TS 16949 alignment. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronics/Electrical Engineering). - 10-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global environment. - Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in Product Development process and Product Lifecycle Management. - Strong MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel including advanced skills like Macros/automations. - Excellent business communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation. - Knowledge of Design to Cost, Design to Lifecycle, and Design to Quality approaches. - Basic understanding of Project Management. - Effective Time and task management skills. - Flexibility in working hours to interact with a Global team.
