Job Description

Lead the design, analysis and development of high-complexity projects for compressed air products used in transport applications.
Lead engineering responsibilities of localising air compressors used in Industrial or related products.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the regions to ensure alignment with manufacturing, quality and other departments.
Apply advanced mechanical design principles and perform design calculations to optimize product performance and to ensure high-quality design outputs.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant global standards and regulations.
Lead design reviews, DFMEA sessions and participate in PFMEA and other quality assurance activities.
Utilize PLM systems for managing design data and ensure accurate documentation.
Mentor and develop junior engineers.

Mandatory Skills

3+ years of Hands-on experience of leading New Product Development (NPD) or major VAVE projects of Industrial or related products.
3+ years experience in development of Package, Sub-systems and Components used in medium to large assemblies.
3 to 5 years hands-on experience in CAD tools such as Inventor or Creo and proficiency in PLM systems like Windchill or SAP.
Handson experience of leading or executing major localisation projects.
