1. Project Planning & Mobilization Review structural drawings, specifications, and project scope. Prepare manpower, equipment, and material plans for foundations, frames, and superstructure. Coordinate with design and project managers for method statements and work sequencing before site execution. 2. Setting Out & Structural Execution Supervise setting out, excavation, and foundation works (raft, pile, footing). Oversee reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works for columns, slabs, beams, shear walls, and cores. Ensure structural works follow approved drawings, tolerances, and quality standards. 3. Quality Assurance & Control Implement QA/QC procedures for concrete, rebar, and formwork. Conduct inspections (RFI, MIR, pour card approvals) with consultants. Ensure proper curing, concrete testing, and documentation of results. 4. Coordination & Communication Coordinate between consultants, MEP, architectural, and finishing teams to avoid clashes. Attend site meetings and report structural progress, issues, and delays. Issue technical queries (RFIs) for drawing discrepancies or design clarifications. 5. Safety & Site Management Enforce safety protocols for working at heights, lifting, scaffolding, and concrete pouring. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper PPE and site housekeeping. Monitor site logistics for material storage and crane operations. 6. Progress Monitoring & Cost Control Track daily progress of structural activities against the schedule. Minimize material wastage and ensure optimum labor productivity. Assist in preparing progress reports, billing quantities, and variation claims. 7. Handover & Closeout Prepare as-built drawings and finalize structural documentation. Ensure completion of all snags, testing, and handover requirements.
