Sr. Engineer, BIM MEP Design

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer - BIM MEP Design at Kohler India Technical Center in Pune, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering BIM MEP design and drafting services for the Global Pool and Spa Business. Your main responsibilities will include creating detailed mechanical plant and pipework layouts, developing 3D models, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring accurate integration within the overall building design. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with engineers to create accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. - Develop high-quality 3D models and visualizations to effectively communicate design intent. - Manage and coordinate MEP system interfaces within the Revit/CAD environment, ensuring seamless integration and clash detection. - Identify and resolve potential clashes, update revision statuses, and maintain drawing referencing. - Communicate effectively with designers, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate project coordination. - Adhere to company's BIM/Revit/CAD standards, workflows, and best practices. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and standards within the team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in BIM and CAD drafting for MEP systems within building services or process plant industries.
