Sr. Engineer, BIM MEP Design

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer - BIM MEP Design at Kohler India Technical Center in Pune, you will play a crucial role in providing expert Building Information Modeling (BIM) services, specifically focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to support the Global Pool and Spa Business. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality engineering BIM MEP design and drafting, collaborating with engineers to create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring seamless integration of MEP systems with other disciplines, and contributing to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and standards within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with engineers to translate design concepts into accurate and detailed 2D drawings and intelligent 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. - Develop high-quality, information-rich 3D models and visualizations to effectively communicate design intent. - Manage and coordinate MEP system interfaces within the Revit/CAD environment with other disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and clash detection. - Ensure all drawing work is fully coordinated, proactively identifying and resolving potential clashes, and ensuring accurate integration within the building design. - Produce Revit and AutoCAD drawings in accordance with project schedules and deadlines. - Maintain accurate drawing referencing, including timely updates of revision statuses and comprehensive drawing issue register. - Communicate and liaise effectively with other designers, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate project coordination and information exchange. - Adhere to and promote the company's BIM/Revit/CAD standards, workflows, and best practices. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and standards within the team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. A Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline with significant experience may also be considered.
