- Your role as a landscape architect will be to provide innovative and aesthetically pleasing environment. - Ensuring that changes to the natural environment are appropriate, sensitive and sustainable. - Collaborating closely with other professionals, you will work on a range of projects in both urban and rural settings. Job responsibilities: - Establish general landscape requirements with clients - Conduct preliminary studies of the site (including contours, soil, ecology, buildings, roads, heritage). - Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates. - Accurately prepare and present detailed plans and working drawings of the re-design of the new site, including applications, construction details and specifications for the project using computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software. - Select appropriate landscaping materials - Analyse environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage and energy usage. - Inspect landscape project progress to ensure that it adheres to plans. - Carry out site visits. - Ensure deadlines are met - Liaise with other professionals on the project. Required Qualifications: - Masters in architecture with specialisation in landscape architecture. - A good working knowledge of Autocad. - Demonstrable presentation and client relations skills. - Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas. - Excellent collaboration skills, good self-organisation, and strong ability to work in a team environment

Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required. Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets. May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
