Sr Engineer /Asst Manager (P&M)

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Oversee the operation and maintenance of all construction-related equipment, including Tunneling Drill Jumbos , Shotcrete Machines ,batching plants, transit mixers, concrete pumps/boom placers, excavators, loaders, lifting equipment, and other Tunneling & Lift irigation related machinery. Followup on (MIS) reports with subordinates , ensuring data accuracy and timely submission to management. Monitor day-to-day plant and machinery activities at construction sites, ensuring efficient & Safe operations Ensure proper maintenance and upkeeping of machinery at the site, adhering to preventive and scheduled maintenance plans OEM standards. Ensure timely deployment of owned or hired machinery based on site requirements, ensuring availability and readiness of equipment as and when required. Oversee spare parts management to ensure an adequate supply of critical parts for machinery, minimizing the risk of breakdowns and ensuring minimal downtime Ensure sufficient P&M operators and engineers are deployed to sites to maintain smooth operations and meet site requirements Verify the hire bills for machinery and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms, processing for timely payment and addressing discrepancies where necessary. Monitor and manage costs related to plant and machinery operations, including fuel, maintenance, repairs, and rentals. Ensure cost-effective use of machinery, keeping within budgetary constraints, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Preferred candidate profile Sr Engineer /Asst Manager (P&M)
