Description
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at our company, your role will involve contributing to the design, engineering, and documentation of electrical and instrumentation systems in oil and gas projects. You should have an M-Tech in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in this field, particularly within the oil and gas sector. Your responsibilities will include designing electrical and instrumentation systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring project execution while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, specification, and selection of electrical and instrumentation systems for oil and gas projects, including power distribution systems, control systems, instrumentation, and automation solutions. - Work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of E&I designs, meeting project milestones and client specifications. - Develop and integrate electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality with other project systems. - Prepare and review technical documentation, ensuring compliance with project standards and regulatory requirements. - Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations as well as internal company procedures and quality requirements. - Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans for E&I work packages. - Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate vendors and equipment for electrical and instrumentation systems. - Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases of electrical and instrumentation systems. - Provide ongoing support for the operation and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems. - Identify potential risks related to electrical and instrumentation design and implementation and provide solutions to mitigate them. - Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment and ensuring best engineering practices. Requirements: - Educational Qualifications: M-Tech in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years in electrical and instrumentation design engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in electrical and instrumentation system design for industrial applications. - Experience with industry-standard software tools for design and documentation. - Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design principles. - Familiarity with safety, regulatory standards, and codes relevant to the oil and gas industry.,
