The role also requires collaboration across multiple identity, security, and infrastructure solutions to deliver integrated automation capabilities acro ss the enterprise. This role will be deeply involved in designing, developing, and implementing automation workflows, integrations, and tools that strengthen identity controls, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the overall security posture across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Python, PowerShell, and automation frameworks to deliver secure, scalable, and reusable solutions in collaboration with global Cyber, Infrastructure, and Service Management teams. By building, maintaining, and optimizing automation scripts, APIs, and web applications, this role will enable faster response to security events, minimize manual dependencies, and drive continuous improvement in Identity and Access operations across the enterprise. | ||||||||||||||
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES | ||||||||||||||
Identity and Access Management (IAM). Manage and enhance Active Directory (AD DS) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environments. . Configure and maintain Conditional Access, RBAC, authentication policies, and app integrations. . Automate lifecycle processes Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) using Python or PowerShell. . Support identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect. . Partner with Cyber, Infrastructure, and Service teams for secure integration and access automation. . Ensure compliance with security standards and identity governance controls. Automation & Engineering. Design and develop automated workflows to improve scalability and efficiency of IAM operations. . Develop and maintain Python-based scripts, APIs, and web applications using frameworks like Flask, Django or Fast API. . Apply Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices in code design, testing, and deployment. . Build and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation of configuration and operational tasks. . Use Git/GitHub for version control and GitHub Actions for CI/CD deployment. . Leverage containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for scalable deployments. . Integrate automation with tools such as ServiceNow, SOAR, SailPoint, or CyberArk. . Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members on automation best practices, code reviews, and cybersecurity principles. . Conduct peer code reviews and mentor team members in automation and coding best practices. Operational Excellence & Collaboration. Process Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing security automation workflows and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. . Collaboration & Communication: Lead technical discussions and presentations, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. . Project Ownership: Take ownership of medium-sized automation projects, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables. . Architecture Review: Review architecture overviews of new scenarios and make appropriate decisions for integrations. . Platform & Operational Support: Provide support for platforms and operational tasks related to identity and access management. . Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance service reliability and automation adoption. . Participate in incident and problem resolution, performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventive automation. .
