Sr Director Data Science

As a Senior Director of Data Science at Cond Nast, you will play a crucial role in leading and driving data-driven decision making across the company's portfolio of brands. Cond Nast, a global media company with a vast reach, is looking for a Senior Director of Data Science to shape the data science strategy and execution. You will oversee a team of data scientists to develop ML and AI-driven products that enhance user experiences, content personalization, revenue, and overall business growth. Your responsibilities will include: - Define and execute the data science roadmap aligned with business objectives. - Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for leveraging data science for innovation and competitive advantage. - Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization. - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data science opportunities and deliver impactful solutions. - Enable the team to develop and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and AI-driven solutions. - Champion data governance and innovation by ensuring integrity, accuracy, and security of data used for analysis. - Stay updated on data science trends and technologies to enhance Cond Nast's capabilities. Qualifications: - Advanced degree (Master or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline. - 15+ years of experience, with 8+ years in leading large-scale data science projects and teams. - Proven track record of delivering impactful AI/ML solutions in a B2C media, publishing, or digital content environment. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Deep understanding of ML/AI, statistical modeling, predictive modeling, recommendation systems, and NLP. - Experience with cloud computing platforms and big data technologies. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.,
