Your leadership will play a crucial role in integrating design principles seamlessly and ensuring the system's performance meets high standards. - Manage a small, highly skilled team dedicated to improving and expanding the design system, providing mentorship and guidance to foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture. - Collaborate with team members to align individual goals with broader team and organizational objectives, encouraging professional development and skill enhancement. - Oversee the library of design tokens, ensuring they reflect the visual identity, collaborating with designers to integrate new tokens and optimize the design workflow. - Lead the creation of new design system features, exploring innovative solutions that elevate capabilities and maintain high standards. - Own the documentation for the design system, creating clear, accessible, and up-to-date documentation that serves as a valuable resource for stakeholders. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights into evolving design needs and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. - Uphold the integrity of the design system through regular quality assurance checks and facilitate peer code reviews within the team. - Contribute to the overall engineering culture by delivering product demos and maintaining the design system's alignment with the design vision and strategy. - Showcase a portfolio demonstrating mastery in systems thinking, front-end development, and visual design. - Experience in building and contributing to design systems that enhance product development. - Successful development and delivery of web or mobile products with a commitment to craftsmanship. - Proficiency in hypothesis-driven design, qualitative and quantitative testing, and leveraging data for design decisions. - Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of modern web technologies such as React. - Experience with Figma, especially in developing plugins, is a plus.,
