Job Description

Role: Sr Design Engineer

Duration: Permanent

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Mechanical Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop
Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Jigs, and Fixtures
as per project requirements for Automotive Components and assemblies.
Create concepts, 3D models, assembly drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings using CAD tools
Understand and translate technical specifications into functional mechanical designs and work on the concepts
Collaborate with UK-based engineering teams and attend daily stand-up meetings
Ensure design compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and best practices
Manage design iterations, updates, and maintain documentation (drawings, BOMs, etc.)
Provide support during build, integration, and validation stages

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge and practical experience in the design of
SPMs, Jigs, Fixtures
, and automation equipment
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) & nice to have skills in Creo.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and GD&T.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote, cross-border setting
Flexible to work in UK time zone
Candidates should be available within 15-30 days to join.
BIW is not required

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum
3 years
of experience in mechanical design of SPMs and tooling
Valid Passport required.
