Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and support AWS Aurora MySQL databases for Open Banking platforms in the US and Australia.
Perform database design, performance tuning, and security/audit tasks.
Conduct research and proof-of-concept (PoC) for new database technologies.
Collaborate with global teams and support databases across multiple regions (US, AUS, and upcoming EU).
Ensure high availability and reliability of database systems in a cloud-native environment.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with
AWS Aurora (MySQL)
minimum 34 years.
Solid understanding of
database performance tuning
,
security
, and
audit compliance
.
Experience with
MongoDB
and
PostgreSQL
is a plus.
Familiarity with
AWS infrastructure
and cloud-native database operations.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification
(preferred)
Exposure to
Terraform
and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools
Background in
payments
or
fintech
domain is a strong advantage
Experience working in a
global team
environment
