Sr. Data Scientist

Role Overview: As a Data Scientist in Mohali, your main responsibility will be designing, developing, and evaluating supervised and unsupervised machine learning models. You will collaborate with data and product teams to create end-to-end ML solutions. Analyzing large datasets using Python and SQL to extract valuable insights will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will continuously enhance model performance using real-world data and maintain detailed documentation of models, experiments, and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and evaluate supervised and unsupervised machine learning models - Collaborate with data and product teams to create end-to-end ML solutions - Analyze large datasets using Python and SQL to extract valuable insights - Continuously enhance model performance using real-world data - Maintain detailed documentation of models, experiments, and processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field - Strong proficiency in Python programming (scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, pandas, NumPy) and SQL - Solid understanding of core ML techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, and dimensionality reduction - Experience with NLP/LLM libraries like Hugging Face, spaCy, NLTK, or OpenAI APIs is a plus Additional Details: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Chandigarh, Chandigarh. The position offers benefits including paid sick time and Provident Fund. The work schedule involves day and morning shifts, and proficiency in English is necessary. Candidates with 3 years of experience in Data Science are preferred.
