Sr. Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer / Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Data consulting team, collaborating closely with clients" partners and senior stakeholders to create and implement cutting-edge big data and analytics solutions. Your strong communication and organizational skills, paired with a problem-solving mindset, are essential for excelling in this position. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop data solutions in Big Data Azure and/or other cloud environments - Work with diverse data sets to meet the needs of Data Science and Data Analytics teams - Construct and design Data Architectures utilizing Azure Data factory, Databricks, Data lake, Synapse - Collaborate with CTO, Product Owners, and Operations teams to deliver engineering roadmaps highlighting upgrades, technical refreshes, and new versions - Perform data mapping to define source data, target data, and necessary transformations - Aid the Data Analyst team in creating KPIs and reports using tools like Power BI and Tableau - Conduct Data Integration, Transformation, and Modelling - Maintain documentation and knowledge bases - Research and recommend new database products, services, and protocols **Qualifications Required:** - Technical expertise in Big Data technologies like Python, Spark, Hadoop, Clojure, Git, SQL, and Databricks - Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI - Experience with cloud, container, and microservice infrastructures - Hands-on experience in data modeling, query techniques, and complexity analysis - Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum - Strong interpersonal skills to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams - Curiosity and willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies for solving business challenges,
