• Should know data warehousing concepts and best practices, Extract, Transfer and Load (ETL), performance tuning
• Should have good knowledge of Oracle, PLSQL, SQL, Unix, and Shell Scripting
• Should have good knowledge of Informatica
• Exposure to Java will be beneficial
• Job involves 16x7 Shifts (Sunday to Saturday, 365 days, Indian daytime)
• Ability to code, unit test, support system testing and user acceptance
• Awareness of configuration management and release process
• Ability to analyse data issues, production issues, performance issues, etc.
• SDLC Knowledge: awareness of the SDLC process
• Ability to perform ETL design
• Ability to perform data modelling, database design, and architecture
• Exposure to Azure, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark will be beneficial
• Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills required to interact with offshore and onshore counterparts (scrum masters/business analysts/managers)
