Sr Data Analyst Project Controls

As a Senior Data Analyst at vConstruct, you will be an integral part of the Data Science and Analytics team, supporting large-scale construction projects through data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with project teams and clients to understand business requirements, analyzing complex datasets related to construction projects, developing dashboards and reports, performing data validation, supporting forecasting and predictive analytics, and communicating findings to stakeholders. You will also contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and reporting standards. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. - Analyze large, complex datasets related to construction projects to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Paginated Reports, and Excel. - Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports and models. - Support forecasting and predictive analytics for cost overruns, schedule delays, and risk exposure. - Track and report on key project performance indicators and project controls. - Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and reporting standards. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of combined experience in data analysis and construction or infrastructure domains. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Preferred experience working with US or international clients.
