Job Description

As a candidate for this role at Tata Communications, you will play a key role in redefining connectivity with innovation and intelligence. You will be driving the next level of intelligence powered by Cloud, Mobility, Internet of Things, Collaboration, Security, Media services, and Network services, envisaging a New World of Communications. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate a good understanding of Various telecom Standards and Protocols such as RFC, ITU, IETF, SS7, SIP, MGCP, MEGACO, DP including E.164. - Possess knowledge on Soft-switch, Multi-service Access switch, Session Border Controllers (SBC), Media Gateways, and/or IP PBX. - Understand IP addressing, routing, switching, and MPLS concepts. - Have specific knowledge of RFC1918, Sonus(Ribbon), Dialogic. - Exhibit excellent Carrier/Supplier Management Skills. - Work in Voice Telecom Operations team. - Operate in TDM/NGN/VoIP based switching. - Have a good understanding of IP Connectivity troubleshooting. Qualifications Required: - Good understanding of Various telecom Standards and Protocols such as RFC, ITU, IETF, SS7, SIP, MGCP, MEGACO, DP including E.164. - Knowledge on Soft-switch, Multi-service Access switch, Session Border Controllers (SBC), Media Gateways, and/or IP PBX. - Knowledge on IP addressing, routing, switching, and MPLS concepts. - Specific knowledge of RFC1918, Sonus(Ribbon), Dialogic.
