Sr. Core PHP Developer

As a Sr. Core PHP Developer at our leading e-learning company in Pune, your primary responsibility will be to develop web-based applications using PHP and MySQL, along with WAMP/LAMP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Your role will require unique problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of any Learning Management System and SCORM will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Understand, interpret, and articulate business requirements. - Develop Solution Blueprint based on Business Requirements and proposed solutions. - Design and document Functional Specifications based on Business Requirements. - Develop programs and frameworks based on Industry standards. - Collaborate with the testing team to develop Quality Assurance Strategy document. Qualifications Required: - 4-8 years of experience in developing web applications using PHP and MySQL. - Sound knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. - Working experience with JIRA/Azure and repos. - Experience in developing/customizing applications using frameworks such as WordPress, Zend, Yii, Laravel, or Moodle. - Good exposure to APIs integration and Development, as well as web services. - Experience with MySQL, planning database architecture, and mobile versions/responsive design implementations. - Knowledge of coding standards, best programming practices, and avoiding performance issues. - Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional Details: - Knowledge of Moodle, Linux, and cloud server will be beneficial. - Familiarity with repo management and versioning concepts. - Experience in custom application development.
