Sr. CAD Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CAD Manager to join our dynamic architectural and interior design team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge in CAD systems, architectural/interior design, and construction processes.

The role requires leadership in enforcing SSA CAD standards, supervising junior team members, and ensuring that quality and accuracy are maintained throughout all project phases. The Sr. CAD Manager will be instrumental in developing construction and presentation documents, conducting site investigations, and assisting Project Managers and Architects in the execution of design deliverables.

ResponsibilitiesThe following are key responsibilities but not limited to:Represent SSA professionally and adhere to company policies.Ensure all work aligns with SSAs CAD standards, quality assurance procedures, and documentation formats.Support design development and construction document preparation in accordance with project requirements.Create high-quality architectural and graphic visualizations using various media.Apply strong technical knowledge in architectural/interior design and construction.Perform site visits, field measurements, and existing facility documentation.Prepare construction and presentation drawings as directed by senior project leads.Coordinate and organize the layout of drawings and documentation.Deliver tasks efficiently and on schedule as per project timelines.Utilize design references such as Graphic Standards, Time-Saver Standards, and manufacturer catalogs.Apply basic knowledge of relevant local and international codes.Coordinate with allied disciplines including structural, MEP, and others.Assist PMs in developing and executing project work plans.Mentor and supervise interns and junior staff as assigned.Review and verify scopes of work for subconsultants.Continuously enhance technical expertise through training, seminars, and self-study.All tasks that are required to be done as per scope of work, responsibility matrix and Client requirement for the project.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
7-10 years of professional experience in architectural/interior CAD documentation Strong expertise in AutoCAD and architectural drafting software Understanding of architectural detailing, interior design standards, and construction drawings Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and industry best practices Knowledge of local and international building codes Excellent coordination skills with allied disciplines Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior team membersTechnical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and related software Knowledge of Graphic & Time-Saver Standards, manufacturer catalogs Experience with construction documentation and detailing Basic understanding of MEP, Structural, and related disciplines Familiarity with field measurement and site verification processes Strong organizational and communication skills
