Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

1.     In-charge of day-to-day sales operations in respective product line and revenue generation against target in B2B segment

2.     Perform daily sales activities, generate sales report, and suggest ideas on market penetration and product visibility

3.     Responsible for implementing the action plan defined for achieving sales revenue for the product line assigned (Agar Agar TC grade, Plantgel (Gellangum), Culture Media Ingredients)

4.     To ensure timely follow-up and co-ordination with existing customers and develop new customers for increasing business volume

5.     Ensure prompt service to customers generated through IndiaMART, Alibaba, Exporters India, TradeIndia

6.     Sourcing of Culture media ingredients from other suppliers and sell products by establishing contact and developing Sales

7.     Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects through customer visits, calls etc

8.     Responsible to generate incremental profits to the organization from existing customers as well as new customers

9.     Responsible for sending quotations, proforma invoices and samples based on the specifications, to the customer

10. Responsible for following-up with customers for payment collection thereby ensuring cash in-flow

11. Prepare statement on payments and execute orders based on confirmation

12. Co-ordinate with stock-in-charge and ensure raw material availability to execute production according to the specifications

13. Work with the quality department on customer specification and ensure samples are developed for confirmation from the customer

14. Collect feedback from customers on sample trials to guarantee quality is maintained as per the required specification given by each customer

15. Discuss and confirm on the mode of transportation and ensure finished goods are despatched

16. Co-ordinate with production department to ensure on-time despatch of requested products to customers

17. Follow-up with the customer on despatch details and track orders ensuring that the product reaches on-time

18. Responsible for post sales services and client relationship management

19. Address customer queries and complaints and suggest improvement in terms of products and service quality

20. Identify inactive customers from the existing customer list and make them active by offering a better option after analysing possibilities of product application

21. Co-ordinate and support the team for exhibitions at the national level

22. Responsible for following up on the Leads generated through exhibitions

23. Reduce Lead Response Time and review periodically

24. Adhere to Business Continuity Plan

25. Responsible for maintaining and submitting consolidated report of domestic sales during weekly/monthly review meetings
