Sr. Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Madhyamgram, Kolkata
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Experience: Minimum 4 Years

Job Responsibilities:

• Handling day-to-day accounting activities and maintaining books of accounts
• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
• TDS calculation, deduction, and timely filing of TDS returns
• Reconciliation of GST, TDS, bank statements, and ledgers
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations
• Coordinating with auditors and consultants when required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST and TDS compliances
• Experience in accounting software (Tally, Excel, etc.)
• Good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate:

• Candidates from nearby locations will be preferred
• Immediate or short notice period candidates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
