Position: Academic Advisor

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 13,000 - 35,000 (incentives based on experience)

We are currently seeking an Academic Counselor to join our team. As an Academic Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding and assisting students in their academic pursuits. This role involves both face-to-face interactions with students as well as tele-calling.

Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and counseling to students regarding their academic goals, course selection, and career options.

Assess students' strengths, interests, and aptitudes to help them make informed decisions about their education.

Assist students in developing personalized academic plans and monitor their progress.

Provide information about academic programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and other educational opportunities.

Answer inquiries from students and parents about the institution's programs, policies, and procedures.

Conduct regular follow-ups with students to ensure they are on track and address any concerns or challenges they may face.

Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement academic support services.

Stay updated on educational trends, programs, and opportunities to provide accurate and relevant information to students.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field

Previous experience in academic counseling or related roles is desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build rapport with students and establish trust.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Familiarity with educational systems, programs, and requirements.

Proficiency in using telecommunication tools and computer applications.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
