Job Description

Core Mandatory Skills (Must-Haves):

Microsoft SQL Server (5+ years hands-on):
T-SQL, stored procedures, indexes, query tuning
Oracle to SQL Server migration experience:
schema conversion, data type mapping, transformation logic, and validation
PL/SQL to T-SQL conversion:
rewriting/optimizing in T-SQL
Performance tuning:
optimizing queries, procedures, and reports
Experience in structured, process-oriented development/support environments
Familiarity with
Agile methodology
(Scrum, Azure DevOps, JIRA)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills (Optional, but Adds Value):

Knowledge of migration tools (
SSMA, Redgate, or custom scripts
)
Exposure to reporting tools (
Power BI, SSRS
)
Experience with DevOps pipelines / automation for DB deployments
Project-based resource planning during re-architecture
