The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, a knack for problem-solving, and expertise in managing large-scale datasets and complex queries. Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Development: Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and scripts to support our business insights web application, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Data Management: Manage and manipulate large datasets efficiently, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Report Generation: Create and update KPI reports using SQL queries to meet the evolving needs of the organization and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Database Management: Oversee the SQL database, including schema design, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Application Management: Administer the business insights web application, ensuring its availability, functionality, and security.
• Query Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to improve the performance of complex SQL queries to ensure the application's responsiveness.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve database and application-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining data integrity.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SQL code, data models, application configurations, and processes for future reference and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SQL Developer with a strong portfolio of SQL projects.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex query design and optimization.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience in working with and managing big data sets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Knowledge of business application administration and configuration is a plus.
