Job Description

Senior System Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform
DB Query Optimization
and
Performance Tuning
in SQL Server environments.
Manage and configure
CloudWatch alerts
for database monitoring.
Handle
Service Desk tickets
permissions, informational, and configuration tasks.
Execute
DB refreshes
from Production to Development environments as per requests.
Carry out
RDS minor version upgrades
,
SQL Server patching
, and
index/status updates maintenance
.
Perform
Azure Blob Storage cleanup
using
Logic Apps
and
PowerShell scripts
.
Manage
database migration and upgradation
requests as per client requirements.
Create and manage
change requests
related to database operations.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience working with
SQL
in a
production environment
.
Strong expertise in
AWS RDS
management and
database version upgrades
.
Proficiency in
query optimization
and
performance tuning
.
Experience with
updates and upgrades of DB versions in AWS
.
Good understanding of
CloudWatch monitoring
and alert configuration.
Excellent
communication skills
and
problem-solving abilities
.
Willingness to work in
24x7 shift environment
if required.
