SQL Annotators

This role is ideal for detail-oriented analysts who love catching edge cases, clarifying logic, and working with real data. You’ll help ensure the next generation of models can reason accurately over real-world databases.

🧠 What You’ll Do

• Review SQL queries

  against realistic business schemas and workflows

• Identify and fix mistakes

  such as incorrect joins, filters, aggregations, or logic

• Validate business logic

  against given rules or expected result descriptions

• Compare outputs

  to gold standards or expected tables to ensure accuracy

• Tag issues

  by type and difficulty (e.g., incorrect WHERE clause, schema misunderstanding, poor grouping logic)

• Assess clarity

  of queries and make improvements where needed

• Provide structured feedback

  that helps improve query-generation systems

✅ Who You Are

• Experience with SQL in a practical setting (e.g., coursework, internship, side project, or job)
• Familiar with debugging or reviewing SQL written by others
• Detail-oriented and comfortable spotting subtle logic errors
• Strong written communication skills and able to articulate reasoning clearly

💸 Pay & Logistics

• $20 - 40/hr depending on experience and quality of review work
• Flexible hours; async work is welcome
• Fully remote - work from anywhere
