You will be responsible for contributing to software quality assurance with a focus on database testing and expertise in Linux systems. As an SQA professional at our company, you should have a strong foundation in software development, particularly in Linux environments, databases, security, networking, and storage. This role is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Pune, or Kochi, requiring a minimum of 6-12 years of relevant experience. In this role, you will work with a diverse tech stack that includes Linux, databases, security and networking, as well as Cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Your responsibilities will include leveraging your 6+ years of software engineering experience to provide architectural leadership, demonstrating proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Go. Additionally, you will need deep expertise in Linux system internals and performance optimization, database design, optimization, and distributed data architectures (both SQL and NoSQL). Moreover, you will be expected to possess a solid understanding of security architecture, covering areas like authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices. Practical experience in network architecture, encompassing protocols, routing, firewall policies, and troubleshooting, will also be vital. Leading a team of 50 engineers and prior experience working on database products will be considered advantageous. Your expertise will be crucial in working on a database product based on a Postgres solution built on Linux, resolving complex tickets, handling customer escalations, driving security compliances for on-prem and cloud deployments, and engaging in end-to-end customer discussions.
