Position: Sports Teacher cum Warden (Residential)

Location: Birla Open Minds International School, Sargawan, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh – 497001

The ideal candidate will be a mentor, a coach, and a guardian, responsible for nurturing students' physical potential as a Sports Teacher and ensuring their well-being and discipline as a Warden. This is a residential position where you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, positive, and enriching "home away from home" for our students.

As a Sports Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging physical education classes for various grade levels.
• Train students in a variety of indoor and outdoor sports (e.g., Athletics, Basketball, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis).
• Organize and coordinate intra-school and inter-school sports tournaments and events.
• Instill values of physical fitness, sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
• Maintain sports equipment and inventory.

As a Warden (Residential):

• Manage the day-to-day operations and discipline of the student hostel.
• Ensure the safety, security, and overall well-being of resident students.
• Create a supportive, homely, and conducive living environment.
• Act as a mentor and a approachable figure for students, addressing their concerns with empathy.
• Maintain order, enforce rules, and oversee the daily routine of the hostel.

• Educational Qualification: A graduate with a B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed or equivalent degree.
• Experience: Prior experience in managing hostels or student residences is highly desirable.
• Sports Expertise: Proven experience in training students in multiple sports.
• Personal Attributes:
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills.
• Compassionate, student-friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to maintain discipline while building trust and rapport.
• Excellent communication skills.

• 💼 Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
