Job Description

Job Responsibilities:


  • Assessment & Evaluation: Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.


  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and therapy outcomes.


  • Therapy Implementation: Conduct therapy sessions using exercises, activities, and assistive technologies to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication skills.


  • Progress Monitoring: Track patient progress and modify therapy plans as required.


  • Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and families on techniques to support communication development and reinforce therapy at home.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.


  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.


  • Early Intervention: Identify and address speech or language issues in children at an early stage.


  • Community Awareness: Participate in awareness programs to educate communities about speech and communication disorders.
