Barista Job Descriptions: - As a Specialty Coffee Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining an organized and efficient cafe environment. You will have the opportunity to enhance customer experiences by sharing knowledge about coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavour profiles. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee using espresso machines and manual brewing methods (V60, Aero press, French press, etc.). Educate customers about coffee origins, flavors, and brewing techniques to enhance their experience. Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and engaging caf environment. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and properly maintained. Manage inventory and stock, including coffee beans, milk, and other caf essentials. Assist in training new baristas and sharing knowledge about coffee trends and best practices. Operate POS systems and handle cash/card transactions accurately. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy in order preparation. Follow food safety and health regulations to ensure customer safety. Requirements & Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in the coffee or Hospitality industry. Proficiency in espresso extraction, milk steaming, and manual brewing techniques. Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, and grind size adjustments. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced caf© environment. Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
