Job Description

Role Overview: As a Capacity Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating capacity plans to support the operations of the company. Your key role will involve analyzing factors such as hiring timing, attrition, and shrinkage to ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained. You will collaborate with the operations team to plan vacations, training, and other events, as well as support the creation of an annual staffing budget forecast. Your insights and recommendations will be crucial in helping senior business leaders make evidence-based operational decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Create, maintain, and update capacity plans including timing of hiring and analysis on attrition, shrinkage, and other factors impacting capacity - Support operations in planning vacations, training, and other events - Assist in the creation of an annual staffing budget forecast - Collect, manipulate, and analyze data related to capacity, supply, and demand - Calculate optimal staffing levels based on forecasts, capacity models, and business constraints - Measure, assess, and communicate variation from plan, including analysis of the cause and impact to KPIs - Help to balance staffing needs across different business units - Provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior business leaders - Collaborate with forecasters, schedulers, and intraday analysts to refine plans and ensure continuity of resourcing - Provide process recommendations, workload/staffing forecasts, and costs to support changes - Look for ways to innovate and improve processes in a Continuous Improvement environment Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in capacity planning, workforce management, or a related field - Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Knowledge of forecasting and scheduling tools is a plus,
