Specialist- Solution Architect

In this role at Accelya as an Architect of Solution Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and architecting new solutions, as well as improving customer-specific products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing solutions in areas such as IATA NDC, Agile Methodology, and supporting Sales and Pre-sales on Accelya Products. - Collaborating daily with business analysts, development, QA, PM, and SM team members to create products that customers love. - Coordinating core solutions with the Product and Technology Teams to ensure alignment with customer and key stakeholder needs. - Maximizing the value delivered by ensuring the team's backlog aligns with customer and stakeholder needs. As a key leader of the team, you will be expected to work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Development Teams, and QA throughout the delivery lifecycle. Your duties will include: - Understanding customer requirements and designing solutions that best fit their needs within Accelya's ecosystem. - Creating architectural solution documents and guiding the business analyst with Solution Approach and BRD documents. - Representing the customer and user in the planning process by working with key stakeholders. - Collaborating with the team on estimations, expected release times, and holding stakeholders accountable to commitments. - Welcoming feedback and adapting plans from internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, security, and design in every iteration. - Assisting the Pre-Sales and Sales Team with RFP responses, solution design responses, and demoing Accelya products. In terms of Knowledge, Experience & Skills, the ideal candidate should have: - 6+ years of professional experience in technical lead and business solution architect roles. - Experience in the travel industry and expertise in designing end-to-end workflow solutions, leveraging NDC. - Experience diagramming solutions and a proven track record of bringing customer needs flawlessly to market. - Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. - Experience in platform/API solutions and business user front ends. - Technical curiosity and passion for exploring new technologies. - Experience in Agile teams and AWS platform is preferred.
