Specialist Procurement

As a Specialist Procurement at Flex in Chennai, your role is crucial in supporting the extraordinary teams and contributing to the growth of the company. You will be responsible for processing purchase orders efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent stakeholder service skills, and collaborating effectively within a team to consistently achieve challenging performance targets. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinating with vendors to track the actual delivery status of materials - Ensuring on-time completion of Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report for review - Executing core procurement processes for assigned products with efficiency and accuracy - Meeting or exceeding desired service levels and inventory targets defined for the products assigned - Collaborating with Internal Business Partners and Suppliers for Purchase Order Changes - Selecting suppliers for placing new orders based on approved Purchasing strategies - Managing the supplier's database and identifying operational efficiencies for continuous improvement - Performing root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues - Preparing customized reports for process analysis and improvement - Managing shortage/excess escalation, coordinating urgent receive, past dues management, and resolving receiving challenges Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Graduates - Experience: 3-7 years in Procurement/Supply Chain (preferred) - Proficiency in computer software applications, specifically MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Excellent communication skills - Experience in Order processing, Supply chain management, Order management, and end-to-end Procurement (preferred) - Knowledge of ERP systems (Preferably BAAN) - Experience in the Manufacturing industry, preferably electronics - Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook - Strong analytical skills At Flex, you will receive benefits such as Health Insurance and PTO for your exceptional contributions.
