Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Solutioning & Design
- Engage with customers, channel partners, and OEMs to gather business and technical requirements.
- Design and propose end-to-end network and security solutions across multi-vendor environments (Juniper, Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco and Firewalls) for Routing, Switching, Wireless, SD-WAN, and Network Automation.
- Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), High-Level Designs (HLD), and Low-Level Designs (LLD) based on customer requirements.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC), product demos, and technical presentations.
- Perform wireless heatmapping and site surveys to ensure optimal coverage, capacity, and performance.
- Design and recommend firewall solutions for perimeter security, segmentation, VPN, and threat prevention.
- RFP, Technical Compliance & Documentation
- Work on RFPs, ensuring complete technical compliance with requirements.
- Prepare detailed compliance matrices, cross-references, and deviation lists where applicable.
- Collaborate with sales and bid teams to prepare winning technical proposals aligned with customer needs.
- Troubleshooting Support & Technical Advisory
- Provide top-level troubleshooting and optimisation support for critical network and security issues.
- Recommend lifecycle management, upgrades, and optimisation strategies.
- Product Training & Enablement
- Deliver product training sessions for customers, channel partners, and internal teams on Juniper, Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco, and Firewall solutions.
- Create training materials, presentations, and technical guides to support knowledge transfer.
- Stay updated on the latest vendor certifications, features, and updates to provide relevant training.
- Technology Expertise
- Configure and demonstrate platforms such as Juniper Mist, Aruba Central, Ruckus SmartZone, Ruckus Cloudpath and Firewall solutions (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper SRX, Cisco Firepower).
- Deep knowledge of Routing & Switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN) and Wireless architectures.
- Familiarity with Traditional and Fabric Network Technology, SDN, Network Automation, and integration with management platforms.
- Knowledge of Infra services like DNS, DHCP, NTP and RADIUS and TACACS+.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain technical documentation, including customer requirement documents, HLDs, LLDs, implementation guides, and network diagrams.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Industry Awareness
- Stay updated on emerging networking and security trends, competitive products, and vendor roadmaps.
- Provide technical inputs for RFP/RFI responses.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, BCA, B-TECH, or related field.
- Minimum 34 years of hands-on experience with the major vendors (Juniper, Aruba, Ruckus, Cisco) and Firewall solutions.
- Strong knowledge in Routing, Switching, Wireless, SD-WAN, and Firewall architectures.
- Experience in solution designing, BOM preparation, heatmapping, firewall solutioning, product training, RFP working, technical compliance, and cross-reference creation.
- Practical deployment experience with Juniper EX/QFX, Aruba CX, Ruckus ICX, and enterprise firewall solutions.
- Good knowledge of Juniper Mist, Aruba Central, Ruckus SmartZone and Cloudpath.
- Relevant certifications preferred (JNCIA, ACA, RASP, CCNA, NSE or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
- Proven track record working with OEMs, channel partners, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with sales and technical teams.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Enterprise and data centre networking.
- Exposure to advanced security solutions such as NAC, DLP, and SIEM integration.
