Company: Description: Marsh McLennan Global Services India Private Limited (MMGS) is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai, India office: Senior Principal Engineer - Data Science We will count on you to: Design and implement data analytics products to solve complex business problems and drive strategic outcomes. Utilize strong conceptual skills to explore Art of the Possible" in analytics, integrating data, market trends, and cutting-edge technologies to inform business strategies. Manage and manipulate large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring data quality through cleaning, consolidation, and transformation into meaningful insights. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends, reporting key metrics and synthesize disparate datasets for comprehensive insights. Perform rigorous quality assurance (QA) on datasets, ensuring accuracy, logical consistency, and alignment with analytical dashboards. Automate data capture processes from various sources, streamlining data cleaning and insight generation workflows. Apply knowledge of insurance claims, policies, terminologies, health risks, and wellbeing to enhance analytical models and insights. Develop Automation Solution for generating reports using tools such as Python, GenAI and ChatGPT APIs ensuring efficient and optimized code. Communicate complex data-driven solutions clearly and effectively, translating technical findings into actionable business recommendations. Having knowledge around Power BI/LLM/RAG will be preferred What you need to have: Bachelor s degree in engineering / Analytics or Master s Degree in Statistics/Computer Applications/ IT/Analytics /any discipline related to Data visualization / Analytics. 2-5 years of progressive experience in Data Science Hands-on exp. in Python (advance knowledge), GenAI, Excel - Intermediate and good understanding of BI tools -Power BI Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques Strong consulting experience and stakeholder management Basic to intermediate visualization experience in Power BI Excellent with data understanding, transformation and EDA Keenness and urgency to learn about the Marsh and the business unit s business, and insurance industry in general What makes you stand out Should have an aspiration to learn and grow.
