Job Description In your new role you will:
HPC System Operations and Maintenance - Assist in monitoring and maintaining operational uptime of HPC clusters and systems.
- Learn to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in compute nodes, storage, and interconnects.
Automation and Scripting - Support efforts to automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Collaborate with the team on developing tools to streamline HPC system administration.
Monitoring and Incident Management - Help set up and optimize monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Participate in incident response processes, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Collaboration and Support - Work closely with senior engineers to support HPC users in running and troubleshooting workloads.
- Document processes, runbooks, and solutions to assist other team members and HPC users.
Learning and Development - Participate in on-the-job training and educational programs to understand HPC environments and tools.
